I’m going to let you in on a little secret, I didn’t start out planning to specialise in business English. Lesson after lesson I noticed a pattern, my most motivated students weren’t trying to become fluent for fluency’s sake. They were trying to nail a presentation, land a promotion, lead a negotiation or leave a lasting impact on a call that mattered.
Generic conversation practice wasn’t solving that. So I stopped teaching generic conversation practice.
Today, every lesson I build starts with one question: what does this person actually need to do in English?
